The Official Confusion

In a nutshell, the objective of this book is to set the record straight, although Danceteria was far from straight… There are a lot of rumors floating around that may or may not be true and we wanted to be part of the rumor mill and add to the confusion, but it will be the official confusion!

This means that the result of our efforts will be inevitably chaotic!

This because Danceteria was chaotic, and proud of it!

The general climate of hysterical chaos permeated everything we did, helped by a fair amount of incompetence, laissez faire, laziness and whatever else… But this is what made the club so fabulous! It was unpredictable (because you never know what lazy people may come up with…) it had a certain mystery (cause leaving people to their own devices brings surprices…) and yet it maintained an appearance of impassible serenity that only insane people are capable of faking…

As you can see, Danceteria was NEVER BORING!

So, be advised that this book is totally chaotic and disorganized, it is a patchwork of things and thoughts that many times make no sense at all. Some statements are repetitive, others are contradictory, a few are tasteless and politically incorrect and many are total bullshit… just the way Danceteria used to be! The spirit of Danceteria lives-on through these pages!
